lyrics

I (used to) drink my coffee with a straw. I usually follow most of the law. but we got stuck down on the streets of Ottawa, singing well I'm just askin for a ride.

We used to be Vancouver bound, but the freight trains had no buckets to be found. so we got high in the woods of Parry Sound. Singing, well I'm just askin for a ride.

chorus: I laid myself down in the dirt. I took all of my gear off first. I let the roots from the plants and the trees and the weeds drag my body down deep into the Earth.

We spent too long living on snacks, but we finally made it all the way east to Halifax, I didn't care if I ever made it back, singing well I'm just asking for some time.

You know that I don't stay up late, but we made it all the way to Montréal riding freight. God damn us if it didn't have to rain, singin well I'm just trying to stay dry.

chorus.

first verse.
