You were a wild animal and I was just your friend. I don't know how to love but I like to pretend. So I told you all my faults and all the bad things that I done, then I tangled up my life in yours and we set out on the run.

You talked me into hopping west even though I swore it off, and it was raining when we got off the train, we got chased out by the cops. The rain followed us through most the trip as we worked on building trust, and the highway even washed out a few hours behind us.
